about the one true eflauntBrainchild of SEO consultant and all round Internet Marketing guru, Scott Boyd (aka Marketing Guy if you happen to frequent some of the better known SEO forums!), eflaunt is an Internet Marketing agency based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Established in 2005, with a focus on full transparency of service, eflaunt offers wide range of core Internet Marketing services on a local, national and international basis. Internet Marketing is still a relatively new industry and as such, many websites still do not fufill their full potential. That's why we believe... "...if you've got it - eflaunt it!" Why eflaunt?Internet Marketing is a fairly new industry, really only taking off over the past few years - this means that there are a lot of different services available, with no real consistency from agency to agency. Even search engine optimisation services differ from agency to agency, with some offerings being, well, less than effective these days. At eflaunt, we not only strive to keep up to date with current developments in key Internet Marketing areas, but also aim to integrate other marketing concepts into the mix. This means that we offer the same optimisation service as other agencies, but also include (as part of the service), guidance on how to convert your new traffic, ideas on how to increase the natural growth and income of your site and expert instruction on how to effectively protect your brand online. In short, we do everything we possibly can to further your business, not as an agency, but as a partner. A word from ScottHaving over 5 years industry experience, I don't believe in selling snake oil or a half baked service. There's so much that SEO agencies could be doing for their clients that they don't do (usually under the claim that it's "not their job"). This is wrong. 80% of SEO is very easy. It's the same from agency to agency, SEO to SEO. The other 20% is down to the interpretation of the individual SEO / agency. Most however, simply get by on the 80%. If I see a business opportunity that I think a client would be interested in, I tell them. If I have an idea for a client's site that is out with what they are paying me for - I tell them anyway. If I see negative publicity for my client or their industry, then I let them know. This is the focus that eflaunt follows. Not just going through the motions, but doing everything we can to help your business prosper. Our clients don't just get "yet another SEO agency". They get extra sets of eyes and ears. They get more people thinking about ways to take their site forward, out with the scope of SEO. We operate not as an external agency, but as an extension of your company. The best advice I could offering anyone thinking about hiring a SEO agency is to do some research first. Check out www.webmasterworld.com, www.searchenginewatch.com, www.v7n.com, www.threadwatch.org and ask the folks there what questions you should run by a new SEO agency. Then contact the agency and ask to speak to someone who knows about SEO and ask those questions. And feel free to drop my own SEO blog and check it out! - Scott Boyd, eflaunt
