Ask (http://www.ask.com) is a well established search engine which currently holds the 4th largest market share within the search market. Purchased in 2005 by InterActive Corp (http://www.iac.com), Ask elected to drop the famous butler image as part of their branding (a legacy from the search engine's previous incarnation as "Ask Jeeves").

Today, the search engine offers a great shopping and blog search index as well as their core web index and although Ask is fighting for market share, they are still a long way behind market leaders Google.
